2019, Ricinus

Ricinus, or the castor bean plant is a species of flora found throughout Israel. In local culture it is synonymous to the word "temporary". It is also understood to represent absurd and surreal behaviors or objects. 'Ricinus' was an exhibition that seeks to address the architecture of the absurd. Under this context, The artists worked with themes of the imagined utopian space, commemoration and conservation, architecture within consumer culture and the Israeli pathos within architecture and art
